Job Responsibilities
- Fareast Islami Life Insurance Company Limited, a public listed company engaged in Life Insurance business on the basis of Islamic Shariah in the private sector is looking for Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Requirements
- Age 45 to 60 years
- Age: Not less than 45 years and not more than 60 years
- 15 years of experience in life insurance company (should have at least 02 years to the immediate lower post of CFO)
- Minimum 10 (ten) years working experience in Life Insurance of which 5 (five) years in Senior Level as CFO/CFO Incharge/Deputy CFO.
- The applicants should have experience in Life Insurance Field only.
- Candidates should have fair knowledge of Companies Act 1994, Securities Laws (viz, Securities & Exchange Ordinance 1969, Securities & Exchange Rules 1987, Securities & Exchange Commission Act 1993 & others), Depository Act 1999, Insurance Act 2010, Insurance Rules 1958, Income Tax & VAT Act & Rules etc.
- Sound knowledge and experience on IAS and IFRS, Accounting software, Corporate financial reporting and preparation of Financial statements.
- The Candidate must be computer literate with excellent communication skill both in English and Bangla.
Educational Requirement
- M.Com/MBA in Accounting/Finance, Fellow-ICAB or Associate Member, Fellow- ICA of England Wales or Associate member, Certified as a CPA (USA/Canada), Fellow- ACCA, UK or Associate Member, Fellow- ICMAB or Associate Member, Certified as a CFA- USA, A professional qualification certificate in the field of accounting obtained from a country other than Bangladesh, which is recognized by ICAB or ICMAB. highly desirable.
