Job Responsibilities
- Assist cardiologists and Cath Lab physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
- Prepare the Cath Lab, equipment, instruments and accessories before procedures.
- Operate and assist with Cath Lab equipment under the supervision of authorized medical personnel.
- Maintain proper sterilization, infection prevention and control protocols.
- Assist in patient preparation, positioning and monitoring during procedures.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of Cath Lab instruments and equipment.
- Maintain procedure-related records, inventory and documentation.
- Follow radiation safety protocols and ensure the use of appropriate protective equipment.
- Assist in emergency situations, including cardiac emergencies, as instructed.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols and patient safety standards.
Requirements
- Age 22 to 40 years
- Only Male
- Candidates with specialized training or experience in Cath Lab procedures will receive preference.
- Practical experience in a Cath Lab will be an added advantage.
Educational Requirement
- Diploma in Medical Technology (Cardiology) from a recognized institution.
- BSc in Health Technology (Cardiology) will be preferred.
- Candidates with Graduation in any discipline and relevant Cath Lab training may also be considered.
Experience
- 3 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital
