It promotes education, vocational training, and child development, and conducts skills training, scholarship management, and non-formal primary school programs for poor and disadvantaged communities.Program / Institute: Grameen Vocational Training Institute (GVTI)Job Location: Mirpur, Dhaka, BangladeshEmployment Type: Full-time (Contractual / Program-based)Job Description / Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality theoretical and hands-on practical training in advanced Computer Operations (MS Office Suite, data management, operating systems, cloud storage, and typing speed/accuracy) and Graphic Design (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, typography, color theory, vector art, photo editing, and digital layout) aligned with the National Technical and Vocational Qualifications Framework (NTVQF/CBT&A) and international market standards.
- Provide comprehensive, practical training on global freelancing platforms (e.g., Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer.com, People Per Hour), teaching profile creation, optimization, gig setup, portfolio building (Behance, Dribbble), competitive bidding strategies, and proposal writing.
- Plan, design, and update Competency-Based Learning Materials (CBLM), session plans, job sheets, real-world design briefs, and multimedia teaching modules.
- Prepare trainees to meet the technical expectations, deadlines, design standards, and service level agreements (SLAs) required by international clients and remote employers.
- Train students in professional business English, cross-cultural communication, negotiation techniques, dispute resolution, client retention, copyright/intellectual property ethics, and international payment methods (e.g., Payoneer, wire transfers).
- Supervise the IT training simulation lab; ensure desktop PCs, operating systems, graphic software suites, digital drawing tablets, local networking, and high-speed internet connectivity are properly maintained and operational.
- Enforce strict cyber security, data privacy, software licensing ethics, and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS/ergonomics) compliance in the computer lab.
- Conduct continuous formative and summative competency assessments against national standards (NTVQF) and freelancing marketplace requirements.
- Prepare trainees for internal assessments, BTEB/NSDA regulatory certification exams, and practical design screening tests for corporate and remote job opportunities.
- Assist in trainee mobilization, screening, admissions, personal counseling, and pre-course/pre-employment orientations.
- Provide active mentorship and incubation support to trainees during and after course completion to help them secure their first freelance orders or remote employment contracts.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, competency logbooks, assessment portfolios, trainee earnings/freelancing milestone records, and submit routine progress reports to management.
- Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the Management.
Requirements
- Age At most 40 years
- Minimum 5 (five) years of professional graphic design, digital design production, or instructional experience for Bachelor’s degree holders; OR
- Minimum 7 (seven) years of relevant hands-on graphic design and instructional experience in reputed IT firms, design agencies, or skills training centers for Diploma holders.
- Candidates who are active top-rated or level-rated freelancers on major international platforms (e.g., Upwork Rising Talent/Top Rated, Fiverr Level 1/Level 2/Top Rated Seller) with a strong, verifiable portfolio on Behance or Dribbble will be given strong preference.
- Certified as a Trainer/Assessor under CBT&A (Competency-Based Training and Assessment) (Level-4) in Graphic Design / IT Support / Computer Operations by BTEB or NSDA.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, Figma, and modern generative AI design tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, specifically tailored for communicating with overseas clients and writing project proposals.
- High-level mentoring, leadership, workshop facilitation, and classroom management abilities.
- Preferably up to 40 years, with flexibility for candidates possessing exceptional qualifications, international exposure, relevant certifications, and professional experience.
Educational Requirement

- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) / Information Technology (IT) / Graphic Design from a recognized university; OR
- Diploma in Computer Engineering / Graphic Design / Multimedia Technology from a recognized government Polytechnic Institute or BTEB-approved technical institution; OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with an advanced professional diploma/certification in Graphic Design & Freelancing from a reputed national or international training institute.

- Salary & Benefits:
- BDT 40,000 per month, plus other benefits as per organizational policy. The salary is negotiable based on the candidate`s qualifications, international exposure, relevant certifications, and professional experience.
