Job Responsibilities
- Applicants must have hands on experience regarding all international flight reservations, ticket bookings and issuance through Amadeus, Sabre (GDS), GDS platforms, particularly Galileo (Travelport).
- Applicants should have good relation and excellent communication with Qatar Airways, Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Emirates Airline, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, China Southern Airlines, Gulf Air & All other airlines.
- Search, compare and provide competitive airfares, flight schedules and suitable travel itineraries according to clients' requirements.
- Prepare and manage Passenger Name Records (PNR), fare quotations, ticket issuance and booking confirmations.
- Handle ticket reissuance, revalidation, refunds, cancellations, date changes and other post-ticketing services.
- Check airline fare rules, baggage allowances, visa-related transit requirements and applicable ticketing conditions before issuing tickets.
- Monitor flight schedules, airline notifications, schedule changes and booking status to ensure timely communication with passengers.
- Verify ticket details, fare calculations, taxes and airline rules to minimize booking errors and financial losses.
- Coordinate with airlines, consolidators, travel partners and relevant authorities regarding reservations, ticketing issues and special requests.
- Provide professional customer support by responding to client inquiries regarding fares, flight availability, ticket conditions and travel arrangements.
- Prepare accurate quotations, invoices, sales records and daily ticketing reports.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of all reservations, issued tickets, refunds and cancellations.
- Ensure accuracy in passenger names, travel dates, routes, passport details and other essential information before ticket issuance.
- Meet assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company's air-ticketing business.
