Job Responsibilities
Kisan Botanix Limited is an established agricultural company engaged in the production of potato seeds, Gerbera plantlets, and other agricultural products, including vermicompost.We are seeking an energetic and knowledgeable professional to oversee our Vermicompost Production & Sales Operations. In this dual-capacity role, you will be responsible for managing the production of high-quality organic fertilizer while driving commercial sales and expanding our market presence across agricultural and commercial networks.Senior Manager – Vermicompost Production & SalesKey Responsibilities

- Oversee end-to-end vermicompost production, including bed maintenance, moisture control, organic waste feedstock management, and worm health and harvesting.
- Maintain quality assurance standards and ensure proper curing, screening, and packaging of organic compost products.
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize production capacity to meet market demand.
- Develop and execute sales strategies targeting commercial farms, nurseries, agricultural distributors, retailers, and home gardeners.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Conduct product demonstrations, educate farmers on the soil health benefits of organic vermicompost, and provide technical guidance.
- Gather market feedback to identify business growth opportunities and monitor competitor activities.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in vermicompost production, organic fertilizer management, or agricultural product sales.
- Skills: Strong understanding of organic farming practices, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and field sales skills.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel for field visits, client meetings, and farmer network engagements.
Educational Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Agronomy, Soil Science, Horticulture, or a related field.
Experience
- At least 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)
