Job Responsibilities
Pawlished and Primped Pet Salon and Spa, a concern of Precise PetLab Diagnostics & Hospital Ltd., is looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and enthusiastic Pet Groomer to join our growing team!Key Responsibilities
- Bathe and groom cats and dogs according to breed standards and pet owners’ preferences.
- Cut and trim fur according to instructions and grooming requirements.
- Perform nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing.
- Observe and report potential health concerns, including skin conditions and infections, to the appropriate person.
- Handle pets with care, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the grooming process.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the grooming area.
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain grooming tools and equipment.
- Communicate professionally with pet owners to understand their needs and preferences.
Requirements
- Age At least 22 years
- Must be proficient in understanding and communicating in English.
- Genuine love for animals; being a pet owner is preferred.
- Experience in caring for cats and dogs.
- Previous grooming experience is not mandatory - training will be provided!
- Patience, gentleness, and a caring attitude toward animals are essential.
- The ideal candidate must have prior experience in handling cats and dogs and a genuine love for animals.
- We are looking for someone who is patient, gentle, compassionate, and comfortable working with pets of different temperaments.
- A strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of every pet are essential.
- Previous professional grooming experience is not required, as training will be provided.
Educational Requirement
Minimum Education: HSC or equivalent (graduates preferred).
