Mid-Level Architect

Edifice Consultancy is a multidisciplinary engineering and development consultancy providing integrated solutions in infrastructure, construction, surveying, environmental management, architecture, urban planning, and development services. The firm has experience working on major infrastructure and development assignments, including serving as a Construction Supervision Consultant for the First Dhaka Elevated Expressway and providing industrial building design and engineering consultancy services. • Edifice Consultancy is looking for a creative, skilled, and responsible Mid-Level Architect to join our multidisciplinary team. The candidate will work on a range of projects, including industrial buildings, urban landscaping, park design, and architectural planning. The ideal candidate should have strong design and visualization skills, practical knowledge of RAJUK drawing and approval documentation, and the ability to manage design tasks and prepare professional reports.

• Develop architectural concepts, layouts, plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings.
• Prepare RAJUK submission drawings and coordinate the required documentation.
• Design industrial buildings, parks, urban landscapes, and outdoor public spaces.
• Prepare architectural layout plans and 3D visualizations for client presentations.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, MEP, and other technical professionals to ensure design integration.
• Conduct site visits, review site conditions, and incorporate findings into design development.
• Prepare design reports, technical documents, presentations, and other project deliverables.
• Manage assigned design tasks, coordinate with team members, and ensure timely submission of deliverables.
• Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.

• Age 20 to 45 years

• 2–5 years of relevant professional experience in architectural design and consultancy.
• Practical experience in preparing RAJUK submission drawings and related documentation.
• Experience in urban landscaping, park design, and public-space development.
• Experience in industrial building design and architectural layout planning.
• Proficiency in SketchUp with V-Ray, or equivalent 3D modelling and rendering software.
• Strong skills in architectural drawings, layouts, design development, and presentation.
• Ability to prepare professional architectural reports, design documents, and project presentations.

• Strong design sense, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Good management, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to prepare clear, structured, and professional reports.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet project deadlines.
• Strong teamwork skills and a proactive approach to work.

• Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Architecture from a recognized university.
