To elevate and modernize its clinical and patient care services, applications are hereby invited from qualified, skilled, dedicated, and compassionate medical practitioners for the following position: Medical OfficerDepartment / Workstation: BEDO General Hospital - BEDO Center, Bypass Road, Boalia, Naogaon (Inpatient / Indoor, Outpatient / OPD, and Emergency Departments)Working Hours & On-Call Duty: Regular duty from Saturday to Thursday, 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM. On-call duty will be applicable on holidays and during emergencies or critical patient care situations.Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Scheduled & On-Call Duty Coverage: Diligently adhere to the daily assigned duty schedule and ensure prompt attendance/active response to emergency on-call duties whenever required.
• Patient Consultation & Prescribing: Obtain accurate medical histories, perform physical clinical examinations, and provide effective prescription treatment to outpatient (OPD) attendees.
• Emergency & Inpatient Management: Deliver immediate life support, triage, and primary treatment to critically ill patients in the Emergency Department; conduct regular inpatient (IPD) ward rounds and follow-up care.
• Ultrasonography & Diagnostic Support: Perform reliable ultrasonography examinations as indicated and assist in clinical diagnosis through accurate diagnostic report interpretation.
• Surgical & Operating Theatre Assistance: Independently conduct minor surgical procedures and provide skilled OT assistance to consultant surgeons during major operations, ensuring comprehensive post-operative care.
• Referral & Medical Records: Promptly stabilize and refer complicated cases to tertiary healthcare centers when needed; maintain meticulous records of patient case histories and treatment data.

• Prior working experience of 1-2 years as a General Physician / Medical Officer in a reputed hospital/clinic is preferred.
• Hands-on practical expertise and certified training in Ultrasonography (USG / CMU / PGT) will receive special preference.
• Practical experience in General Surgery and Gynae-Obs procedures (Minor Surgeries and OT Assistance in Major Surgeries) will be given priority.

Required Competencies

• Expertise in rapid assessment, acute patient triage, and emergency management in the Emergency Department.
• Dedication and sincere willingness to perform scheduled duties and respond to on-call calls.
• Compassionate, ethical, and patient-centric communication and bedside manner.

• Minimum MBBS degree from any Medical College recognized by BM&DC.
• Must possess valid and up-to-date registration with the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BM&DC). Mandatory.
