Job Responsibilities
- To lead and supervise the CAD and sample team of the buying house. Oversee sample room policies, planning, and workflow, ensuring high-quality sample execution and buyer satisfaction.
- To communicate with merchandiser, production, quality, cutting and store teams to resolve technical issues.
- To develop, revise and grade patterns including base size, costing patterns, shrinkage-adjusted patterns and seal patterns.
- Manage full sample approval process (Development, Fit, Size Set, PP, and Production Samples) in line with international buyer requirements.
- Provide technical solutions to factories for pattern adjustments, garment construction, and production challenges.
- Communicate effectively with buyers, merchants, and sourcing offices, analyzing sample comments and ensuring accurate execution.
- Train, guide, and supervise the technical/sample team to improve pattern accuracy quality standards and efficiency
- Prepare garment patterns according to design concepts, sketches and specification.
- Follow up with the sample section to ensure timely sample development.
- Make accurate sample consumption, calculate and confirm fabric, trimming, thread, elastic and zipper consumption.
Requirements
- Age At least 40 years
- Only Male
Should have good leadership skill
Experience in Kint & Woven
Good understanding of garment construction, patten development, marker making, fabric consumption, fitting and measurements
Responsible, organized and team oriented
Proficiency in CAD software, preferable BOK/Gemini
Educational Requirement
- Secondary
- Higher Secondary
- Bachelor/Honors
Experience
- 10 to 15 years
