Job Responsibilities
A Chattogram-based company is seeking experienced legal professionals for full-time, office-based positions as In House Legal Officer. The selected candidates will be required to work from the company’s office premises in Chattogram.Key Responsibilities
- Handle and follow up on Artha Rin, Civil, and Criminal (C.R.) cases.
- Draft legal notices, pleadings, petitions, applications, written statements, and other legal documents.
- Coordinate closely with external advocates, senior counsel, and other legal professionals.
- Attend court proceedings and ensure regular follow-up of ongoing cases.
- Conduct legal research and provide legal opinions and recommendations.
- Maintain proper case records, hearing dates, deadlines, court orders, and litigation updates.
- Ensure timely and effective management of all assigned legal matters.
Requirements
- Age At least 25 years
- Only Male
- Candidates must have Bar Council Enrollment and legal practice experience in the Lower Courts.
- Candidates having High Court practice experience will be given preference.
- Strong practical experience in Artha Rin, Civil, and Criminal litigation is essential.
- Sound knowledge of Bangladeshi laws, court procedures, litigation practices and legal documentation.
- Strong legal drafting, research, analytical communication and case-management skills.
- Ability to work independently, coordinate with advocates and senior counsel and manage multiple legal matters simultaneously.
- Educational qualification and age requirements may be relaxed for candidates who have been performing the above responsibilities for many years and possess strong practical command, proven experience and expertise in handling legal and litigation matters.
Educational Requirement
- LL.B. / LL.M. degree from a recognized university.
