Job Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day purchasing activities for the healthcare.
- Collect and compare quotations from different suppliers/vendors.
- Prepare Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, and related procurement documents.
- Identify reliable suppliers and maintain good vendor relationships.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.
- Ensure timely procurement of required medicines, medical consumables, surgical items, equipment, and general supplies.
- Coordinate with hospital departments regarding purchase requirements and specifications.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Check received items against Purchase Orders, quotations, and delivery documents.
- Maintain proper records of purchases, quotations, suppliers, and purchase orders.
- Coordinate with Store, Accounts, Finance, and concerned departments regarding procurement and payment.
- Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure procurement activities are conducted according to company policies and procedures.
- Prepare regular purchase reports for management.
- Any other requirement as required management time to time.
Requirements
- Age 35 to 40 years
- Strong oral and written communication skill in English.
- Good computer knowledge in MS office, power point, mail, internet, ERP, SCM software etc.
Educational Requirement
- Masters/Equivalent, Post-graduation in Supply chain Management (SCM) will get preference.
Experience
- 8 to 12 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Group of Companies
