Job Responsibilities
Workplace
- Work at Head Office in Dhaka with travel to sites across Bangladesh
- Design on-grid, rooftop, hybrid, and commercial/industrial solar PV systems based on project requirements.
- Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD), electrical layouts, cable schedules, equipment layouts, and detailed engineering drawings.
- Conduct site surveys and assess roof structures, electrical systems, load profiles, and installation feasibility.
- Develop designs using AutoCAD and relevant solar design/simulation software.
- Prepare conceptual, preliminary and detail system designs for PV System including shading analysis, mechanical racking plans, specification of BOS location and interconnection details, and labeling.
- Doing AC & DC cable sizing, earthling calculation, and string configurations.
Requirements
- Age At least 26 years
- Strong knowledge of Solar PV system design and electrical engineering principles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Working knowledge of Pvsyst and Helioscope or SketchUp, or similar solar design software is preferred.
- Must have knowledge of Distributed Solar System Design and implementation.
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Renewable (Solar C&I and/orSolar Irrigation and/or Rooftop Solar, BESS), Power, Substation 11KV/33Kv
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel
- Enthusiasim for Renewable Energy Technologies
Educational Requirement
- Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) or equivalent.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Experience
- 2 to 4 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Fuel/Petroleum
