Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
Other Requirement

Age at least 35 years
Minimum 12 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in building construction with a focus on healthcare facilities.At least one hospital project 200 beds in portfolio is a must.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., AIA, ASHRAE, NFPA, DIN, BNBC).
Proficiency in mechanical engineering design software.
Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Membership of Bangladesh Institution of Engineers (IEB) is a must.

Job Summary: The Mechanical Manager will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical engineering aspects of the hospital construction project, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.Department: Project EngineeringReports to: Project CoordinatorResponsibilities
Manage and supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of all mechanical systems.
Coordinate with architects, electrical engineers, and other disciplines.
Review and approve mechanical engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Monitor construction progress and prepare progress reports.
Manage the mechanical works budget and schedule.
Resolve technical issues and problems that arise during construction.
Supervise and manage mechanical engineering staff and contractors.
Ensure quality control and quality assurance of mechanical works.
Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
