  • Studying for or having achieved a degree in a related field
  • Proficiency in written and spoken EnglishGood news judgment and understanding of journalistic ethics
  • Awareness and understanding of current events
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
  • Team player 
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles
  • Ability to translate reports from Bangla to English

    Responsibilities : Key Responsibilities
  • Editing news articles, features, analyses and opinion pieces for grammar, style and clarity.
  • Uncompromising adherence to factual accuracy.
  • Working with reporters/writers to improve articles and resolve editorial queries.
  • Check proper formatting and functionality in our CMS before publication.
  • Support fast turnarounds for breaking news as needed.
