The role:
The Senior Programme Officer (SPO) will be part of the PMU team, committed to the holistic development of Bangladesh. The SPO will lead and manage projects focused on building networks and alliances to expand civic space, promote locally led indigenous adaptation in agriculture, and support the rights of grower communities to build resilience against climate change. Key responsibilities include overseeing project operations and finances, ensuring compliance, coordinating with teams and partners, managing budgets, reporting, and organizing events. The SPO will also support safe programming, encourage community participation in decision-making, and promote a partnership-based, feminist approach with awareness of power dynamics.
