Receive, inspect, and verify the quantity and quality of all incoming goods and materials.
Maintain an organized storage area and ensure safe and hygienic storage practices.
Record all stock movements (inbound and outbound) using inventory management software.
Issue supplies to departments based on approved requisitions, ensuring proper documentation and stock control.
Monitor stock levels regularly to avoid overstocking or stockouts; initiate timely reorder requests.
Conduct routine stock audits and physical inventory checks; reconcile discrepancies with records.
Maintain accurate stock registers, and purchase records.
Coordinate with the purchasing department for delivery follow-ups and vendor communications.
Ensure all perishable items are stored at the correct temperature and used before expiry.
Comply with health and safety regulations, especially in storing food, chemicals, and fragile items.
Generate and submit daily/weekly/monthly inventory and consumption reports to management.
Prevent misuse, theft, or damage of store items by enforcing strict stock control measures.
