Fluency in speaking, reading and writing English is required. Ability to type in English and Bangla, fluency in spoken and written Bangla preferred. Fluency in spoken Santali is desirable.
Responsibilities
:
Job Summary: To support school leadership (heads) in working with students and staff to facilitate abundant learning (PS to O level) that supports each child in reaching his or her full potential, physically, mentally, spiritually and academically. To model and carry out creative teaching and live an active Christian lifestyle while overseeing and coordinating all school activities for and with children and their families across the whole school. To work with the Director, Headmaster or Head of Academics to ensure the quality of education is provided and with the Head of Administration to ensure the smooth daily running of the school. To represent the school in meetings with parents, other parts of LAMB and government authorities as needed. To actively engage in planning for present needs and future challenges.Teaching:
Writen and carry out plans in accordance with LAMB School Curriculum
Plan and teach classes using visual aids and other materials
Adjust for the children in the class
Sets targets that are possible for children to reach
plan and uses a variety of teaching activities that encourages
ensure that all children are engaged and working
Financial:
Suggest priorities for the Annual Budget
Execute administrative policies
Keep strong communication with Local, District and Divisional Education Council, Schools as relevant
Make recommendations for solutions of administrative problems
Conduct interviews of new hires and orient new employees in cooperation with LAMB HR department and school management team
Managerial:
Contribute to selection of students
Ensure relationships between staff and students and amongst students, are positive and conducive to learning
Provide spiritual leadership for staff at the school through demonstrating a personal walk with God and encouraging others in their growth and relationship with God.
