Job Summary:Bangladesh Specialized Hospital Ltd. (BSH) is seeking a dedicated CSSD Technician to join our Central Sterile Services Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, sterilization, and maintenance of medical instruments and equipment, adhering to the highest standards of infection control and safety protocols.Job Responsibilities:
Clean medical supplies, equipment, instruments, and instrument trays.
Follow standard precautions for decontamination processes.
Monitor biological and chemical wash solutions to ensure consistent safety.
Check sterilization equipment routinely to ensure it is functioning properly.
Perform quality control checks and maintain equipment such as steam autoclaves.
Verify equipment functionality and operate water sterilization tools according to established guidelines.
Conduct inventory of equipment and restock supplies when needed.
Maintain accurate sterilization records and stock supply closets.
Collect and distribute instruments, trays, carts, and other medical facility equipment.
Organize tools, sort mismatched instrument sets, and ensure timely availability of instruments for physicians.
Verify the proper functioning of equipment piece by piece.
If equipment is found defective, repair or replace it.
Perform daily and weekly infection control tests to ensure maximum sterility.
Prepare and package medical equipment for use in different department facilities.
