Responsibilities
:
Role of this Position: To develop the quality of program being completed for assisting the Ultra Poor People, to develop their Socio-economic conditions and capacity to sustain the process of change and development. Job Summary: Provide Supervise, guidance & support to subordinates for implementing the planned activities, according to the guidelines & cash flow budget. Assist Area Manager for planning, budgeting, reporting & implementing of the activities. Job Responsibilities: Providing support and guiding Community Organizers for forming and strengthening People’s Organizations:
Ensuring that selecting of the poor people according to the criteria.
Guiding Community Organizers for formation & management of community-based People’s Organizations
Formation & meeting with Union Committees & Upazila Networks.
Capacity building of People’s Organizations·
Sharing meeting with People’s Organizations Workers & Community Organizers.
Training facilitation & monitoring
Attending Forum monthly meeting.
Collecting monthly plan of action and achievement reports from CO.
Collecting & disseminating issue based update information to People’s Organizations.
Assisting People’s Organizations members for realizing their rights.
Providing guidance to form the Executive Committee.
Giving technical & legal support.
Providing guidance to Union & Upazilla Network leaders, arranging meetings for rapport building, information collection, better access and linkage with GO/NGO, issue based media campaign.Ensuring the disbursements & recovery livelihood support:
Forum meeting.
Assess the needs of People’s Organizations.
Assist People’s Organizations to selection Forum members for distribution livelihood support.
Ensuring support money is spent properly.
Organizing Training for livestock & poultry.Advocacy intervention with GO/NGO:
Building rapport with existing GO, LG duty bearers
Organizing issue-based media campaign.
Collecting & disseminating issue-based update information to People’s Organizations.
Meeting with AC land, Union Committee, Upazila Network level.
Increasing People’s Organizations access to the GO/ NGO facilities.Assisting to promotion of education & culture:
Assisting to pre school education, justify to poor student and education assistance disbursement.
Assisting to motivational workshop on higher education for the students / parents
Following up preschool activities
Contact with GO facilities for education purpose.
Assist to culture actions organized by community based People’s Organizations.Acting as a resource person:
Acting as a resource person/ co-facilitator in trainings/ workshops/court yard meeting.
To make sure that the selection of the trainees according to the criteria.
Maintain effective relationship with training team.Communicating and maintaining Govt. liaison:
Preparing reports for the local govt. administration.
Attending meeting with local govt.
Participating govt. various program as per needed.
Establishing linkage with Govt & other institutions·
Assisting People’s Organizations in establishing linkage with public institution.Assisting Area Manager for formulate operation plans and cash flow budget:
Formulating operation plan & cash flow budget.
Monitoring the progress of planned activities & intended results·
Assisting Area Manager to take decision focusing on the support & existing activities.
Comparing market value & cash flow budget.
Assisting Area Manager for procures management of the project as a purchase committee convener.
Acting as a managerial role for maintaining Unit Office functions.Planning & Designing:
Attend monthly meeting
Prepare monthly work plan
Ensure implementation of planned activities maintaining quality and following guidelines.
Ensure distribution / disbursement of livelihood support and its recovery. Monitoring the progress of the planned activities:·
