• Age 22 to 30 years • Support the analysis, architectural design, building, testing, and documentation of complex data conversion and integration solutions for hospital and clinical systems. • Assist in the development and evaluation of process improvements, including identification of project goals and objectives to help evaluate project proposals. • Act as a liaison between hospital end users (admin, billing, lab, pharmacy, nursing staff) and business units to maintain reliability and operation of supported systems. • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and establishing personal networks. • 1–3 years of practical experience in web-based application development, mainly using Oracle APEX; healthcare/HMS domain experience is a strong plus. • Good working concept of SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Reports, Report Builder, and Web Logic/ORDS setup. • Basic understanding of hospital workflows (OPD/IPD, billing, pharmacy, lab) is preferred but not mandatory — willingness to learn the domain is essential. • Ability to diagnose and resolve production support issues calmly, with clear incident communication to stakeholders. • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical persons or hospital staff/users. • Must be comfortable working in a dynamic, research-oriented team with concurrent projects. • Professional certifications on Oracle DB or APEX will be an added advantage. • Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize urgent support issues. • Willingness to assist senior developers by providing efficient technical assistance to keep up with service users. |

Responsibilities
|
• Write, debug, and maintain code for Hospital Management System (HMS) modules — patient registration, OPD/IPD, billing, pharmacy, lab/LIS, and reporting. • Assist in the development of custom applications and software systems using Oracle APEX and JavaScript in a web-based environment. • Provide day-to-day production support for live HMS deployments: troubleshoot incidents, investigate data/report discrepancies, and coordinate fixes within SLA. • Support integration between HMS and lab/diagnostic equipment or third-party systems (e.g., LIS/ASTM device interfaces, biometric/attendance feeds) where applicable. • Perform system analysis and design for new and existing hospital application modules. • Assist with planning and designing system and application architecture, and translating hospital business requirements into application prototypes. • Develop user interfaces from given design parameters, tailored for clinical and administrative hospital workflows. • Participate in the agile software development lifecycle in a team environment, including design, code, and test inspections to identify issues/defects. • Handle on-call/rotational support responsibilities for critical hospital systems as required, ensuring minimal downtime for patient-care operations. |
