MBM Group, one of the pioneering apparel manufacturers in Bangladesh, is looking for a qualified, analytical, and result-oriented professional for the position of Senior Manager – Industrial Engineering. We are looking for a candidate at the Manager to Senior Manager level with substantial experience in industrial engineering within the woven garments manufacturing industry.The incumbent will be responsible for optimizing production processes, improving operational efficiency, enhancing line productivity, reducing manufacturing costs, and ensuring the effective implementation of industrial engineering methodologies across production operations.Key Responsibilities• Develop and implement industrial engineering strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall manufacturing performance.
• Conduct time studies, method studies, work measurement, and capacity analysis to establish standard operation times (SMV).
• Analyze production processes to identify bottlenecks, eliminate non-value-added activities, and improve workflow.
• Monitor line efficiency, operator performance, machine utilization, and production capacity to achieve established targets.
• Lead production line balancing initiatives to optimize manpower allocation and maximize output.
• Work closely with Production, Planning, Quality, and Technical teams to improve operational efficiency and meet production targets.
• Develop and implement productivity improvement plans using lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Analyze efficiency reports, production data, and performance indicators to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support new style implementation, layout planning, and production feasibility analysis.
• Optimize manpower requirements and resource utilization based on production targets and order complexity.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for productivity, efficiency, labor utilization, and operational performance.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to the Industrial Engineering team to ensure effective execution of IE activities.
• Prepare periodic reports on productivity, efficiency, SMV, capacity utilization, and improvement initiatives for management review.
• Ensure effective implementation of standardized work methods and best practices across production lines.
