• Bachelor`s and Master`s degrees in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration/Engineering, or a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
• MBA/Master`s in Supply Chain Management will be preferred.

• 10–15 years of relevant professional experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Strategic Sourcing, preferably in a large manufacturing organization.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in a managerial position.
• Experience in Chemicals, or other large-scale manufacturing industries will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of industrial procurement and inventory management.
• Excellent negotiation, supplier relationship management, and commercial judgment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Advanced Excel, ERP, and supply chain reporting.

A reputed leading manufacturing company, with its Corporate Office located in Tejgaon Industrial Area, Dhaka, is seeking a highly experienced, dynamic, and results-driven professional for the position of Senior Manager / Manager – Supply Chain Management (SCM).The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations, including strategic sourcing, local procurement, import coordination, inventory and warehouse management, logistics, and cost optimization to ensure uninterrupted production and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities• Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies, procurement policies, and operational plans aligned with business objectives.
• Strategic Sourcing & Procurement: Lead local sourcing and procurement of raw materials, chemicals, packaging materials, machinery, spare parts, and other industrial materials.
• Supplier Management & Negotiation: Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers; negotiate competitive prices, payment terms, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
• Material Planning: Ensure timely availability of raw materials, spare parts, and other essential materials through effective demand forecasting and procurement planning.
• Inventory & Warehouse Management: Oversee inventory control, stock reconciliation, warehouse operations, and optimum stock levels while minimizing excess and slow-moving inventory.
• Logistics Management: Supervise inbound logistics, transportation, material movement, and delivery schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective operations.
• Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, competitive negotiations, efficient inventory management, and effective budget control.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Commercial, Finance & Accounts, and Store Departments to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure transparent procurement practices, compliance with company policies, proper documentation, and timely submission of procurement and supply chain MIS reports.
• Team Leadership: Lead, supervise, and develop the SCM team, establish performance, and drive continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency.
