It follows the Australian National Curriculum and is accredited by the Western Australian Government. Curriculum framework integrates eight learning areas to ensure a balanced education and a strong foundation for each child. This power of eight includes: English, Mathematics, Science, Health,Technology, Arts, Society and the Environment and Mother language (Bangla) as well.
At the senior level- inspections, moderations and external exams are monitored by the Western Australian School Curriculum and Standards Authority. AusIS is now an IBPYP, IBMYP and IBDP authorized school.

Educational Requirement

• At least Master’s degree in any discipline
• IB PYP training, certification or demonstrated knowledge of the IB curriculum will be an added advantage
• O and A Level completed candidates will be given preference
• Having M.Ed/ B.Ed degree will be given preference.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum Delivery: Plan, deliver, and assess engaging, inquiry-based lessons based on the PYP framework. Ensure the curriculum is transdisciplinary and supports the development of the whole child.
• Student-Centered Learning: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to become independent thinkers, problem-solvers, and active learners.
• Differentiation: Adapt lessons to meet the diverse learning needs of students, ensuring that all students are appropriately challenged and supported in their learning journey.
• Assessment: Use a variety of formative and summative assessment tools to monitor student progress.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and adjust teaching strategies to meet their individual needs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other PYP teachers, the PYP Coordinator, and school leadership to develop and implement the PYP curriculum. Participate in planning meetings and collaborate on interdisciplinary projects.
• Parent Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Attend parent-teacher conferences and school events.
• Classroom Management: Establish a safe, organized, and respectful classroom environment that fosters student engagement, responsibility, and respect.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with the latest developments in the IB PYP and educational practices.
• School Community: Contribute to the wider school community by participating in extracurricular activities, school events, and committees.
