• Keep constant contact with assigned overseas agents, shippers, suppliers, and relevant parties for smooth handling of import shipments.
• Follow up SOP for every customer and ensure all import processes are handled according to company procedures.
• Follow up on shipment documents, including Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Import Declaration (Bill of Entry), and other required documents.
• Coordinate with overseas agents, suppliers, shipping lines, airlines, C&F agents, and customs-related parties regarding shipment status and documentation.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding shipment status, arrival schedules, customs clearance, delivery, and documentation.
• Ensure timely follow-up with vendors/agents for customs status, arrival notices, delivery orders, and other import-related documents.
• Provide regular shipment updates to customers and the concerned Operations team, including vessel/flight details, ETA, shipment status, and other relevant information.
• Coordinate with the Import Operations team for customs clearance, cargo delivery, and other operational requirements.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing professional and timely customer support throughout the import shipment process.
• Prepare and submit EDI/DSR or other required shipment reports on time.
• Handle urgent consignments and customer requirements through email and phone communication when necessary.
• Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude.
• Always maintain a positive and professional attitude toward customers.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Follow up on pending documentation, customs issues, clearance status, and delivery arrangements to minimize delays. |
