• Experience in a buying house, particularly in a Buyer Quality Representative, Quality Assurance, or Technical role, will be highly preferred. The candidate should have a strong understanding of buyer requirements, quality standards, sample evaluation, technical specifications, and coordination with garment manufacturing units for sample development and approval.
• 10-12 years of relevant experience in sample development, preferably in the RMG/garment manufacturing industry, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar position.

Duties & Responsibilities:• Understand and interpret buyer sample requirements, specifications, tech packs, and comments.
• Coordinate and oversee the development of samples from initial concept through buyer approval.
• Coordinate with Pattern, CAD, Sample, IE, Production, Quality, Merchandising and other relevant departments.
• Ensure samples are developed according to buyer specifications, measurements, and workmanship, construction, fabric and trims requirements.
• Review completed samples before submission to buyers.
• Ensure timely submission of samples and follow up on buyer comments and approvals.
• Coordinate necessary modifications/re-sampling based on buyer feedback.
• Monitor the sample development and approval timeline and ensure deadlines are achieved.
• Maintain proper records of sample status, buyer comments, revisions and approvals.
• Identify technical issues during sample development and coordinate corrective actions.
• Guide and support the sample development team to improve sample quality, accuracy and turnaround time.
