China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC), engaged in the Toll Collection and Software Operation of the Jamuna Bridge, is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Assistant Software/Hardware Engineer. Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable, efficient, and reliable Python codebases for the Toll Collection System.
Design and implement robust backend components that support lane devices, toll booth operations, central server processes, and reporting modules.
Integrate user-facing interfaces—including dashboards, operator panels, and monitoring tools—with backend services and APIs to ensure seamless functionality.
Architect, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and micro services using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or Fast API
Install, configure, and integrate Python-based services with toll lane hardware, including RFID readers, ANPR cameras, inductive loop sensors, and toll barrier mechanisms.
Develop and maintain data ingestion and processing modules interfacing with MS SQL/MySQL or other relevant storage technologies used within the tolling ecosystem.
Implement and enforce application security measures, device authentication protocols, and data protection practices across all system components.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues to ensure real-time performance, low latency, and high system availability in a production tolling environment.
Enhance the toll management system by adding new features, refining existing modules, and addressing user or operational requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including networking, hardware integration, and DevOps—to ensure smooth deployment, configuration, and overall system integration.
Prepare and update comprehensive technical documentation, including system specifications, configuration manuals, process workflows, and release notes.
