Educational Requirement
:
Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting, Master of Commerce (MCom) in Finance, Master of Business Administration (MBA) Master’s Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration from a reputed university.Professional qualifications such as CA (partly or fully qualified) will be considered a strong advantage.

Experience Requirements
Minimum 10–12 years of progressive experience in financial management and accounting, preferably in a listed or manufacturing company.
At least 5 years in a senior financial leadership position (e.g., CFO, DGM – Finance, Head of Accounts).
Proven experience in financial planning, cost control, tax management, and compliance with regulatory bodies (BSEC, NBR, RJSC).
Strong understanding of capital markets, corporate finance, and investor relations will be preferred.
Key Competencies
Strategic leadership with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
Sound knowledge of IFRS, BAS, BFRS, and corporate governance frameworks.
Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, or equivalent).
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
High ethical standards, integrity, and confidentiality in handling financial information.

The company has been engaged in producing high-quality paper and tissue products for both domestic and international markets.In line with our strategic vision of strengthening financial leadership, enhancing corporate governance, and ensuring sustainable growth, we are looking for a qualified and experienced professional to join our executive management team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).Position OverviewThe Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting functions, ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards, regulatory requirements, and the company’s internal control framework.The incumbent will play a key strategic role in financial planning, risk management, treasury operations, and reporting to the Managing Director and the Board of Directors.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Strategy & Planning
Formulate and implement strategic financial plans aligned with the company’s long-term objectives.
Develop and maintain financial policies, systems, and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Lead the annual budgeting process, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Advise management and the Board on capital structure, financing options, and investment decisions.
Financial Management & Reporting
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with International Accounting Standards (IAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Oversee all aspects of accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and cost accounting.
Present quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial reports to the Board and regulatory authorities (BSEC, DSE, CSE).
Supervise statutory and internal audits and ensure full compliance with audit requirements.
Compliance, Taxation & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, BSEC guidelines, and the Companies Act.
Oversee direct and indirect taxation matters including corporate tax, VAT, and withholding taxes.
Implement robust internal control and risk management systems to safeguard company assets.
Liaise with regulators, auditors, financial institutions, and tax authorities.
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting teams.
Build a culture of accountability, integrity, and performance excellence within the finance function.
Drive automation and ERP-based financial management systems.
