• Good knowledge of restaurant, banquet and general hotel F&B operations.
• Working knowledge of POS systems, Microsoft Office, Excel and hotel PMS is preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

About the Role
Q HOTEL Dhaka is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Food & Beverage Coordinator to provide strong administrative and operational support to the F&B Department. You will coordinate daily activities, maintain records, support outlet operations, and ensure smooth communication between F&B outlets, Kitchen, Stores, Purchasing, Finance and other departments in a five-star hotel environment.Key Responsibilities• Coordinate daily administrative and operational activities of the Food & Beverage Department.
• Assist the F&B Manager and Outlet Managers with daily planning and follow-up.
• Prepare and distribute daily F&B briefings, schedules, notices and operational communications.
• Coordinate meetings, briefings and departmental training sessions.
• Maintain updated records of staff schedules, attendance, leave and departmental documents.
• Coordinate staff duty rosters and ensure adequate staffing information is communicated to relevant supervisors.
• Assist in monitoring F&B outlet opening and closing procedures.
• Coordinate with Kitchen regarding menus, promotions, special events and operational requirements.
• Coordinate with Stores and Purchasing regarding food, beverage, operating supplies and equipment requirements.
• Follow up on purchase requisitions, market lists and outstanding departmental requests.
• Assist with maintaining updated menus, price lists, promotional materials and outlet information.
• Ensure all F&B documents, checklists, reports and forms are properly maintained and filed.
• Assist in preparing daily, weekly and monthly F&B reports.
• Compile outlet sales, covers, average checks and other operational statistics as required.
• Assist with banquet and event coordination, including function sheets, menus, setup requirements and departmental communication.
• Coordinate with Sales & Marketing regarding promotions, events, group bookings and special F&B activities.
• Assist in monitoring guest feedback and ensure issues are communicated to the relevant outlet management.
• Follow up on guest complaints and service recovery actions as directed by the F&B Manager.
• Assist with inventory documentation, stock reports and departmental requisitions.
• Coordinate with Finance regarding F&B bills, checks, discounts, complimentary items and other financial documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of departmental and hotel information.
• Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, food safety, hygiene and occupational health and safety standards.
• Assist in coordinating departmental training and maintain training records.
• Support the implementation of F&B promotions, special events and seasonal activities.
• Maintain professional communication with guests, colleagues, suppliers and other departments.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the F&B Manager or Director of Food & Beverage. |
