The candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent product quality, buyer compliance, and on-time shipment approvals. He must have strong technical knowledge of footwear materials and construction, with proven leadership skills to guide QA teams and maintain international quality standards for export markets.Job Responsibilities
Lead the Quality Assurance department for footwear production (leather, synthetic, sports, and casual).
Ensure products meet buyer requirements, international standards, and compliance regulations
Oversee implementation of quality systems, SOPs, and inspection guidelines across all production stages.
Supervise raw material, component, inline, and final inspections to reduce rejection rates.
Approve samples (Pattern trial, grading test, testing sample, pilot production) before mass production.
Ensure shipment approvals through strict Final Random Inspections (FRI).
Work closely with production, merchandising, sourcing, and development teams to maintain quality consistency.
Handle buyer visits, audits, and internal AQL professionally.
Manage and guide QA officers/inspectors across multiple lines and factories.
Build QA/QC team capacity through training on inspection methods, defect analysis, and reporting.
Enforce quality discipline and continuous improvement culture in factories.
Investigate quality failures and customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
Maintain properly daily production, QA documentation, inspection reports, and compliance records.
Regularly update management about quality status, risk areas, and action plans.
