Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Footwear Engineering Graduate in Footwear Engineering or relevant degree from a well reputed institute.
Other Requirement
:
At least 5 years’ merchandising experience preferably in a reputed buying office in Sports Shoes category.
Must have sound understanding of sourcing, costing, as well as technical knowledge on footwear (synthetic) and production processes.

Job Context
The Merchandiser holds the accountability for working closely with the team and independently handling respective accounts from product development and sampling stage till shipment ensuring seamless execution of daily tasks and timely dispatch in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Execute and follow up on each step of process for Sports Shoes manufacturing
Ensure quality of products manufactured from protos, fit & pp sample stage to final inspection and ensure customer satisfaction
Ensure the quality of all imported raw material such as PU, mesh and others
Coordinate with Quality team regarding quality, fit and measurements and ensure smooth flow of production.
Check and reconfirm accuracy of samples prior to dispatch to office / customer tech to ensure first time approval
Handle multiple factories and provide solutions and options to ease production.
Obtain approval for cost effective and feasible methods and options
Manage with Independent Quality Auditors and technicians for necessary for quality, measurement and technical related issues and ensure to delivery customer required levels
Manage a smooth and workable time and action plan with the customer
Work on prices with multiple factories and price breakdowns to ensure the best possible and competitive prices
Manage a smooth workable relationship with current factories to develop ensure smooth execution of orders as well as source and develop newer factory base
Follow-up TNA on regular basis to ensure on-time delivery with right quality and quantity
Visit factories regularly to get market intelligence
Understand ethical behavior and business practices and ensure own behavior and the behavior of others is consistent with these standards and aligns with the values of the organization
