Other Requirement :
  • At least 5–8year(s) finance and admin managerial /coordinator level experiences with practicing knowledge
  • Clear understanding about NGOAB process and standard process of a national level NGO.
  • Experience of Project financial & administration role and experiences at NGO level, donor reporting skills
  • USAID/EU/ UN fund management capacity will get priority
  • Proven work experience as a similar role
  • Strong practicing knowledge on tally software and various software using skill required.
  • Clear understanding on taxation, NGOAB processes
  • Strong analytical skills in Accounts, finance & administration. Ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Responsibilities : The Dhrubotara Youth Development Foundation (DYDF) is a Non-Government Organization dedicated to community development, youth engagement, and volunteerism, and we are seeking dynamic Manager (Finance & Admin) to drive positive change in the areas of socio-economic development and capacity building in Bangladesh through Youth development approach.The Manager, Finance and Admin based in the Dhaka office (Mirpur 6, Dhaka) will report to the CEO. He/She is responsible for day-to-day financial policy wise execution, managing NGOAB and donor’s financial reporting, analyze variances and budget and undertake corrective action including systematic documentation for future audit. The post holder will provide policy guidance to the team so that everybody can use financial and other resources as per policy guidance and make support services and procurement followingThe guideline and preserved in a safe place. Excellent time management and communication skills are essential for this position since you'll be working with internal teams and clients to deliver deliverables on time.I. Responsibilities and Tasks:
  • Preparing Strategic Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare Strategic Planning, Budget preparation for every & multiyear.
  • Financial performance of the projects in accordance with the scope of work and respective project plan.
  • Dealing with NGOAB, USAID/Other donor agencies, BB, Banks, MRA, Registration authorities need basis.
  • FD6, FC1, FD 1 and other relevant NGOAB process management, dealings.
  • Responsible for overall day to day financial management, execution of the program and ensuring growth in line with DYDF objective and goal.
  • Procurement management, all kind of banking transactions, donor wise all kind of financial reporting, budget negotiations and communications, related documentation, ensuring smart management.
  • Supporting all programs under DYDF in development of strategic planning, monthly/quarterly/yearly plan and overall management of programs.
  • Donor wise reporting, documentation, project design, donor supporting IGA and Micro credit program financial policy wise.
  • Multiple project management capacity required.
  • Checking daily voucher supporting documents, cash book & ledger & other necessary documents and ensuring day to day tally posting, managing approval from higher management.
  • Internal and external audit management, related documentation management.
  • Finance & Analytical report preparation and VAT coupon & Tax deduction calculation checking and track and deposit to bank timely by challan. Clear understanding about taxation of NGO is mandatory.
  • Verify all transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
  • Take initiative to various asset purchase, depreciation calculation, or disposal if needed by organization & donor’s rules & regulation; ensure all kinds of assistance when audit conduct.
  • Ensure enlisted vendor, Check purchase/store requisition and take initiative to approval, collect quotations/RFQ & evaluation, comparative statement & work order, prepare note for record when needed, check logistics and goods through challenge (if needed) and ensure quality and quantity.
  • Ensure deduct Tax and deposit to treasury following NBR rules, ensure payment through invoice/bill.
  • Gathering, monitoring, and communicating on donor rules and regulations (from website, emails and
  • meetings) including during grant proposal kick-off meetings (narrative and budget)
  • Reviewing all financial and logistic information on periodic basis and updating CEO with proper recommendations.
  • Playing role in representing organization in various audience for related negotiation’s, project meeting and program progress, achievement’s
  • Others important duties assigned by the authority on need basis.
  • All kind of payment management and cost analysis with accounting cycle wise financial process management.
  • Adherence to and support DYDF Bangladesh’s Safety and Security policy and systems
  • As part of this role, the job holder will be expected to adhere to and support DYDF Bangladesh’s Safety and Security policy and gender policy etc as part of their day-to-day duties, and comply, at all times, to safety & security protocols and directives should be adhered to. Staff must maintain situational and self – awareness and be aware of the safety – security related consequences.

    Other Facilities :
      BDT 40000 (Gross) with HR policy wise other facilities and two festival bonuses. (Joining from 1st September), first three months will be probation period, BDT 35000 (Gross) will be the salary in probation period. Primarily work contract will be for one year and it can be extended with new package.
