Minimum 10 years of experience in heavy construction equipment operations, maintenance, and business development.
Experience in both technical and sales/commercial aspects is highly desirable.
Vast knowledge of heavy equipment technology, parts, hydraulics, and diagnostic tools

Strong understanding of local and international construction machinery market trends
Familiar with government tenders and megaproject pipelines
Excellent communication in both Bangla and English

Job Context:We are seeking an experienced and technically sound Deputy General Manager (DGM) to lead our heavy equipment machinery operations and business strategy. The ideal candidate must have a strong engineering background with more than 10 years of hands-on experience working with world-renowned brands such as VOLVO, Caterpillar, Hidromek, SDLG, XCMG, Liugong, SANY, Kobelco, Zoomlion, etc., and also possess strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities.Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the overall operations, maintenance, deployment, and performance of heavy construction machinery across projects.
Supervise technical and service teams for routine maintenance, repair, and diagnostics.
Ensure optimal operation of machinery from top global brands including VOLVO, Caterpillar, Hidromek, SDLG, XCMG, Liugong, SANY, Kobelco, Zoomlion etc.
Prepare yearly and quarterly sales plans, monitor performance, and submit reports to senior management.
Gather and update market intelligence, especially regarding megaprojects, government infrastructure plans, and upcoming construction tenders.
Build and maintain client and vendor relationships to support strategic sales goals and service operations.
Coordinate with procurement for spare parts, workshop tools, and supplier negotiations.
Monitor equipment performance reports, utilization, and cost-efficiency to improve productivity.
Implement workshop SOPs, safety compliance, and preventive maintenance programs.
Provide technical training and development support to field teams.
