Educational Requirement : Masters, Bachelor/Honors Master’s degree from a reputed university or institution in statistics or social sciences but experienced candidate could apply with bachelor’s degree and with quantitative content or other related field with strong analytical skills and computer skills especially excel, power points, SPSS is a preference.

  • At least 3 years’ working experience in relevant fields, specially data analysis, screening, reporting for donor and government, preferably in agriculture, value chain/market system development program.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and operating project M&E systems from project initiation to closeout stages.
  • Knowledge of the major evaluation methodologies (e.g. qualitative, quantitative, mixed-method, and impact) and data collection and analysis methodologies.
  • Female candidate is especially encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent analytical skills coupled with proven ability in using visuals like graphs.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bangla.
  • Good report writing skills in English and Bangla.
  • Understanding about local dialects is a privilege.
  • Excellent facilitation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong field work and market monitoring experience.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to convey concepts clearly, professionally, and concisely.
  • Should have a valid motorcycle driving license.

  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office) are mandatory. Experience using Kobo is preferred.

  • Responsibilities : Job ContextPARI Development Trust is a national NGO registered with NGOAB working in greater Mymensingh. PARI is implementing several programs in the areas of community development, nutrition, agriculture and food security/livelihood and child rights in 14 upazilas of Mymensingh, Netrokona, Sunamganj, Jamalpur, Sherpur and Tangail districts. PARI is currently implementing a project of Children, Youth and Communities for Change funded by Transform Aid International, Australia in one of the upazila under Jamalpur district. We are seeking a talented Monitoring & Evaluation Officer as one of the project team members to catch up on the quality changes/results, record and documents best stories and produce quality reports to the donor agency and government. He/she will monitor day to day implementation, assure program quality and sustainability to reach the expected goal through effective monitoring tools, feedback giving, documenting significant learning and stories of changes, and reporting as well as taking part in decision making process as a main part of the project management team. Job Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and strategic oversight for the monitoring, evaluation and learning activities.
  • Ensure effective, accurate and timely monitoring, evaluation and reporting of all project activities.
  • Lead independently to develop assessment tools for different studies/ assessments including baseline, half yearly report and annual reports etc.
  • Lead in regular output and outcome monitoring for decision making and strategizing of project interventions and activities.
  • Lead in context-based customizing of different tools and approach for best representation of project achievements and its proper documentation and capitalizations.
  • Lead in developing communication and MEL guidelines needed for the project with the growth time and relevance.
  • Develop and implement the Monitoring and Evaluation Framework, result chains, MEL plan and indicators to track the project performance and results including routine data reporting, baseline and end-line assessments.
  • Support in the development and execution of market assessments, and undertake cost-benefit, margins, cash-flow, product volumes analysis and modeling.
  • Develop and oversee data flow pattern for the project. Responsible for Data Collection, Management, Analysis, and Reporting.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a quality MIS database of project indicators and activities.
  • Perform regular field visits to ensure the quality of data collected and to verify the accuracy of reported data.
  • Must have practical Knowledge regarding RBM or Log frame preparation.
  • Must have practical Knowledge about result based monitoring tools development.
  • Build staff capacity on MEL.
  • Identify, document and disseminate lessons learned and success stories.
  • Prepare periodic internal and external project progress reports.
  • Must serve as a focal person of safeguard of the project and report.
