Ø Participate in revenue planning and implementation activities with the Editor & Chairman of Editorial Board.Ø Plan advertisement campaigns for new editions/inserts/special issues if the newspaper.Ø Oversee advertisement contacts, billing and collection process.
1. Managing the Advertising Department:Ø Develop and implement strategic plan for collecting advertisements.Ø Maintain and strengthen relationships with advertiser and clients.2. Marketing Strategy & Planning:Ø Develop marketing strategies to increase readership & circulation.Ø Analyse the campaigns, events and promotional activities.3. Brand Development and Awareness:Ø Create and execute communication strategies to strengthen the newspaper’s band image.Ø Manage media partnerships, public relations and social media presence.4. Leading & Achieving Financial Targets:Ø Set revenue targets for the advertising and marketing department and ensure achievement.Ø Prepare and analyse monthly/quarterly sales and revenue reports.5. Team Management and Training:Ø Supervise the activities of the advertising sales and marketing team. Ø Provide training, evaluation and motivation to team members.6. Identifying New Markets & Clients:Ø Identify new potential advertisers and marketing opportunities.Ø Build long term business relationships with key clients.7. Digital Marketing & Advertising:Ø Increase advertising sales through the online portal and social media platforms.Ø Utilise and implement digital marketing tools such as SEO, email marketing and campaign analytics.
