Minimum 4 years of experience in Research, MEAL or IMS roles within humanitarian or development projects, preferably in SRH/GBV contexts.Sensitivity to cultural and social differences, as well as an understanding of the specific challenges faced by the Marginalized community who are most at risk.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with Affected Populations.Familiarity with SRHR issues, family planning, HIV/STI prevention, GBV, MHPSS and other related topics.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team, while maintaining a non-judgmental and compassionate approach.Proven experience in data analysis, visualization (e.g., Power BI, Excel, Kobo), and reporting.Strong understanding of humanitarian principles, gender equity, and accountability to affected populations.§ Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.Fluency in English and; knowledge of Rohingya or Chittagonian dialects is an asset.

Job Purpose:The Officer – IMS will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Information Management System (IMS) to support Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) functions for the SRH and GBV project. The role ensures data-driven decision-making, promotes accountability to affected populations, and supports adaptive programming through robust evidence generation.Key Responsibilities (But not limited to)Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning: Develop and operationalize a comprehensive MEAL framework aligned with project objectives, UNHCR guidelines, and global GBV IMS standards. Design and maintain tools and databases for real-time data collection, analysis, and visualization. Conduct regular field visits to ensure compliance with technical, operational, and safeguarding standards; produce daily visit reports with actionable insights. Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to assess project performance, identify gaps, and inform strategic decisions for way forward. Lead internal evaluations and assessments to measure progress against indicators and recommend course corrections. Collaborate with program operation teams to integrate learning into project design and implementation.Reporting and Knowledge Management: Assist in high-quality monthly, quarterly and yearly reports for internal use and donor submission, highlighting key findings, lessons learned, and recommendations. Collect, compile and produce database for quantitative data submission to UNHCR through ActivityInfo, 5W, 4W and other narrative reports. Represent Bandhu in relevant platforms such as the GBV IMS Task Team, Health Sector, and Case Management Working Group, etc.. providing technical expertise to these forums. Document best practices, case studies, and success stories to support evidence-based advocacy and organizational learning. Contribute to organizational knowledge management through the Evidence Generation process and dedicated learning agendas, ensuring the capture and utilization of insights.Accountability and Feedback Mechanisms: Establish and manage inclusive feedback and complaints response mechanisms (FCRM), ensuring timely resolution and documentation. Facilitate community engagement and participatory monitoring to ensure that voices of women, girls, and marginalized groups inform project adaptation. Promote transparency and accountability through regular information sharing with stakeholders and affected populations.Capacity Building and Technical Support: Provide training and mentoring to project staff on MEAL tools, data collection protocols, and IMS best practices. Support operations teams in backlog identification and develop action plans to meet project targets. Stay updated on emerging trends in humanitarian IMS and integrate relevant innovations into project systems.Coordination and Safeguarding: Foster collaboration with government agencies, UNHCR, and other partners to strengthen Bandhu’s IMS and promote mutual accountability. Uphold and promote the organization’s safeguarding policies and Code of Conduct in all interactions. Report safeguarding concerns promptly and encourage a culture of safety and respect.Additional Responsibilities:Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or senior management in the interest of the organization and project objectives.
