PRERONA is a women-led feminist non-governmental organization based in the Satkhira district of Bangladesh, founded in 2006 by a group of like-minded social workers. Since its inception, PRERONA has been dedicated to empowering vulnerable women in the coastal regions. ABOUT PROJECT: PRERONA made a promising implementing partnership with Plan International in the Coastal District Satkhira. This collaboration aims to empowering girls in this coastal region focusing the impact of climate changed. PRERONA will start the implementation of the three-year-long project titled “ DURBAR: Empowering Girls for Climate Resilience, Rights, and Green Futures in Munshiganj” in 15 June 2025. The project will benefit a total of 3500 households including youth especially girls, parents, teachers and civil society. In the coastal target areas, the project will focus mainly on youth girls , which is disproportionately affected by climate change. The project is financially supported by Plan International. JOB PURPOSE: Assist in developing and strengthening MEAL systems, fostering learning and accountability; generation of reliable data for results-based management and analysis and reporting on achievement as per organizational girls’ empowerment and education indicators in the coastal area.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor project activities to verify qualitative and quantitative data through various performance indicators as per the project log frame.
Support baseline surveys, including designing data collection tools, ensuring quality of data, analyzing data and preparing reports
Develop a detailed Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Framework, M&E plan supported by an MIS database tool in relation to the indicators of achievement, as outlined in the project log frame
Support in preparing periodic reports on organizational climate outcome and output indicators, and assist other projects' programmatic person to monitor activities from a climate change lens
Financial monitoring through keeping a regular track of programme expenditure in relation to the approved budget and operating plan.
Prepare consolidated progress reports for the Management, including identification of problems, causes of potential bottlenecks in implementation, lessons learned and best practices, providing specific recommendations to support the programme’s overall learning
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation.
Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
