Job Summary: Fortress Developments Ltd., a leading name in real estate development, is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Manager – (DDQC) to lead our technical design and quality team. The role involves managing and ensuring the accuracy of architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, maintaining drawing standards, and overseeing construction quality compliance across all ongoing and upcoming projects. The ideal candidate will coordinate closely with consultants, design teams, and project execution teams to uphold design integrity and ensure adherence to both regulatory and company standards.Position Summary:We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager – DDQC to lead and oversee the design, drawing verification, and quality control processes for our real estate and construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all structural and architectural drawings align with project requirements and that construction quality meets company and regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:
Lead the DDQC team in managing and verifying architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
Ensure all designs comply with BNBC, ACI, and other applicable codes.
Coordinate with consultants, architects, engineers, and site teams for drawing and design alignment.
Review and approve working/shop drawings before execution.
Monitor and ensure quality control at all project stages, from planning to handover.
Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to approved drawings and construction standards.
Maintain version control of drawings and documentation across all projects.
Guide and mentor junior engineers and oversee their technical development.
Qualifications & Experience:
BSc in Civil Engineering (MSc preferred) from a reputed institution.
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in DDQC or design and construction quality management.
Strong knowledge in structural and architectural design, building codes, and construction methodologies.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAFE, MS Office Suite, etc.
Strong leadership, coordination, and project management skills.
Membership in IEB will be an added advantage.
