Age 25 to 35 years
Age is flexible depending on relevant experience.
Minimum 3 (Three) years relevant experience with National and/or International NGO(s).
Excellent communication and human dealing capacity.
Excellent skills on conducting training on relevant subject, more specifically on SRHR, Climate Change/DRR and Youth Economic Empowerment.
Strong and proven experience in Coordinating livelihood activities for the youths in community level.
Identify climate vulnerable girls and victims/survivors for skill training and ensure appropriate referrals.
Adequate knowledge and skills on working with climate vulnerable community and identify climate induced vulnerabilities and climate smart solutions, especially for the girls.
Assist in preparing and reviewing business plans to empower girls to become climate resilient and climate smart community champions.
Raise awareness on climate change impacts and disaster preparedness within the community and schools.
Support formation and capacity building of Community Disaster Management Committees (CDMCs) and School Disaster Management Committees (SDMCs).
Organize and facilitate simulation drills, early warning campaigns, and first-aid training.
Promote climate-resilient practices, such as sustainable agriculture and clean energy.
Support community-level risk assessment and local DRR planning processes.
Must have valid driving license and willing to drive motor bike.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with project management tools.
Strong understanding and adequate experience on Youth Economic Empowerment in climate change and disaster prone context.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and project staff·
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive, results-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines·
Team player with experience in multi-cultural and multi-ethnic environments for achievement of org. Additional Requirements.
Strong practical knowledge of “Safeguarding of children and project participants” during climate induced disasters.
