Preference will be given who has been experienced and skilled in medical data entry system.
Technical expertise- ability to work with a wide range of technological equipment, computer operating skills, use to various data entry tools, which requires sound technical knowledge in statistical management of hospital data.
At least one year experience in data entry in manual recording system in hard copies as well as computerized health information management system.
Knowledge and understanding of computerized information systems and experience of working in public health sector in humanitarian crisis will be an added advantage.
Previous work in Government health system will add value to the position.
Working experience in Cox’s Bazar district and/or knowledge of the Undocumented Myanmar Nationals and Rohingya refugees will be a plus.
Working experience in public health facilities under World Bank supported Health and Gender Support Program will be preferred

Project Name: ‘‘Health System Strengthening at Government Health Facilities at Cox’s Bazar’’Reportable to: Superintendent of DH and UH&FPO ofUkhiya and Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar Monitoring & Technical Assistants: PHD in collaboration with IOM will deploy a group of staff led by Team Leader for round-the-clock monitoring and technical support. This may include spot check, review of performance reports and assessing technical competency.Accountable to: As an appointing authority, you will be accountable to PHD for legal and disciplinary procedures for which PHD will review your performances periodically. Team Leader of this project and senior officials will represent PHD.Job Objective:The Data Entry Operator (Statistician) will be recruited as a part of human resource support under the joint collaboration between PHD and IOM to enhance access, quality and utilization of essential health, nutrition and GBV services in Sadar, Ukhiya and Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar. The Data Entry Operator (Statistician) will be responsible to accurately collect, enter, and manage health data—ensuring integrity, confidentiality, and timely reporting—while supporting statistical analysis to inform service delivery and public health decision-making across all facility levels. Responsibilities:The Data Entry Operator (Statistician) will undertake the following tasks in the respective department assigned by the hospital authority, not limited to:
Data entry for all patients visits.
Compiles data for census records.
Generating daily, monthly and yearly reports with statistics of daily, weekly, monthly ED visits, admissions, DAMA, and Death.
To provide cross work cover and support as necessary and to undertake specific project work as directed by the respected authority.
Maintaining highest level of professional ethics.
Playing active role in timely and completely daily, monthly and yearly reporting.
Maintain functional relation with and accountability to the respective authority
