Working experience in public health facilities under World Bank supported Health and Gender Support Program will be preferred.
Preference will be given who has been experienced and skilled in medical warehouse management system.
Technical expertise- ability to work with a wide range of technological equipment, computer operating skills, use to various warehouse data entry tools, which requires sound technical knowledge in medical store management.
At least one year experience in medical warehouse management, medical inventory records entry in manually ledger record keeping as well as computerized medical warehouse information management system.
Knowledge and understanding of computerized information systems and experience of working in public health sector in humanitarian crisis will be an added advantage.
Previous work in Government health system will add value to the position.
Working experience in Cox’s Bazar district and/or knowledge of the Undocumented Myanmar Nationals and Rohingya refugees will be a plus.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in hardship situations and harmoniously within a team of colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgrounds.
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Project Name: ‘Health System Strengthening at Government Health Facilities at Cox’s Bazar’’Reportable to: Superintendent, District Hospital, Cox’s Bazar.Monitoring & Technical Assistants: PHD in collaboration with IOM will deploy a group of staff led by Team Leader for round-the-clock monitoring and technical support. This may include spot check, review of performance reports and assessing technical competency.Accountable to: As an appointing authority, you will be accountable to PHD for legal and disciplinary procedures for which PHD will review your performances periodically. Team Leader of this project and senior officials will represent PHD.Job Objective:The Senior Support Staff (Storekeeper) will be recruited as a part of human resource support under the joint collaboration between PHD and IOM to enhance access, quality and utilization of essential health, nutrition and GBV services in Cox’s Bazar. The Senior Support Staff (Storekeeper) will be responsible to manage hospital supplies and equipment efficiently by overseeing procurement, receipt, storage, inventory control, and distribution—while maintaining accurate records, ensuring stock availability, adhering to safety protocols, and supporting clinical operations.Responsibilities:The Senior Support Staff (Storekeeper) will undertake the following tasks in the respective department assigned by the hospital authority, not limited to:
Receiving and issuing supplies and drugs for the emergency department.
Issue the requested supplies and drugs to emergency department
Preparing purchase requests if necessary and send it to the head of department for approval.
Check and receive ordered supplies and drugs accordingly and to be confirmed with the in-charge nurse.
Adding received items to the impress list as needed.
Reports stock problems to store supervisor to find solutions for these problems.
Conducts physical inventory and prepare all necessary related documents and reports.
Reduce Consumables’ Inventory Levels as possible to maintain availability of the important supplies.
Create Sub stores in ED as Required
Reduce Sub Store Inventory Deficits in the ED.
Data entry for supplier registration record.
Conduct a regular spot check, monthly complete stock count, pharmacy check list and update the related documents accordingly.
Monitor the availability of medical products to avoid stock-outs and financial losses generated by expired items and follow the FIFO and FEFO for stock management
