Job Context:The General Manager - HR, Admin & Recovery is responsible for leading and managing the Human Resources and Administrative functions within the organization. This role involves strategic planning, developing policies, ensuring compliance with laws, overseeing administrative operations, and managing recovery processes to ensure the organization operates efficiently and effectively. The GM will work closely with the senior management team to align HR, administrative and recovery strategies with the overall business objectives.
Retired Army Major/Lt. Colonel will get preference for performing this role.
Job Description:
Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to cash and product shortfalls, ensuring accountability.
Establish and monitor controls to prevent recurring issues like employee’s attendance and punctuality, shop opening hours & ensuring compliance with company standards.
Develop and implement hygiene policies, including regular inspections and corrective action plans.
Oversee the development and improvement of plaza facilities to enhance operational efficiency.
Provide training and resources to employees on proper grooming and professional appearance with company dress code policies and ensure all employees adhere to them consistently.
Collaborate with the Credit Monitoring Officer (CMO) and audit team to establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for HR and administrative functions.
Use audit findings and credit monitoring reports to identify areas for improvement in Plaza’s operations and HR practices.
Oversee & Monitor the overall management of Plaza development new/old (Signage, Lighting, Plaza Merchandising/Plaza Decoration) with ensure plaza bills, ensuring timely payment and accurate record-keeping, issuance and renewal of trade licenses, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Maintain and update a blacklist of employees found guilty of submitting fake attendance or timing records.
Lead recovery efforts for any financial or operational losses at plaza locations & work with legal and audit teams to handle recovery-related disputes or issues.
Lead the recruitment process to ensure the organization attracts and hires the best talent & develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with business needs.
Oversee the implementation of the Performance Management System (PMS) across the organization.
To Ensure regular performance reviews are conducted, and feedback is provided to employees.
