  • Attends the admitted patient.
  • Accompanies the consultants during rounds, and notes and implements their orders properly.
  • Regularly corresponds with the patient and the concerned consultant.
  • Properly monitors the medical team.
  • Diagnoses and treats conditions that affect women, such as certain types of cancer and conditions like menopause.
  • Works with expecting mothers to explain the childbirth process.
  • Performs routine checkups with patients providing childbirth and postpartum care for new mothers.
  • Performs physical exams on patients, including checking for signs of disease, trauma, or other medical conditions.
  • Diagnoses patients’ medical conditions and provides them with treatment plans to treat their conditions.
  • Writes reports about patient examinations and diagnoses, which can be used in court cases involving personal injury claims.
  • Provides counseling or other psychological services to patients with mental health issues.
  • Prescribes medications for patients who are not responding well to other treatments.
  • Teaches patients about their condition and how to manage it.· Provides advice about preventative health care practices such as diet and exercise.
  • Performs surgeries and other medical procedures, including administering anaesthesia during surgery.
  • Maintains records of patient visits and treatment plans in order to track patient progress.
  • Attends OPD/indoor patients/ward & cabins.
  • Participates in academic activities.
  • Carries out tasks assigned by the competent authority.
