Join our family and build an inspired career you’re proud of.Job ContextTechnician - Quality is accountable to perform quality control checks on products during the sample production cycle, to ensure final assembled products meet the requirements from customers’ (both internal and external) end. The occupant is also responsible for approving all samples to proceed for bulk production and taking corrective measures to rectify non-conformance issues where necessary. The incumbent provides knowledge and expertise to improve sample quality and optimize cost incurred.Job Responsibilities
Ensure all finished samples are submitted for inspection after completing the sampling production chain.
Rigorously evaluate samples to confirm they align precisely with customer specifications and expectations.
Assess construction, measurements, pattern accuracy, workmanship, garment appearance, and fitting for any discrepancies.
Document any defects and coordinate with the Sampling team to promptly address and resolve irregularities.
Ensure all samples comply with ZXY Quality Standards before approval for bulk production.
Verify measurements against wash specifications and check all design sketches before forwarding garments to washing units.
Support the Sampling team by providing projections of final product quality and monitoring all production stages.
Perform continuous quality checks during production, ensuring adherence to the design sketch and measurement spec sheet.
Resolve manufacturing issues by consulting with supervisors and guiding operators for precision and accuracy.
Review measurements at various stages to ensure sample consistency with the original tech pack/sample.
Investigate quality issues, determine root causes, and implement effective corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
Recommend process simplifications and cost-effective alternatives without compromising quality.
Address customer claims by analyzing issues and identifying long-term solutions.
Maintain measurement reports for all samples and generate reports reflecting order flow projections.
Research market trends, fabrics, and accessories to support product innovation. Collaborate closely with design, sampling, and business units to ensure continuous improvement.
