Have at least three (3) years of experience working on projects related to Microbiology or Virology and strengthening diagnostic networks/laboratories.
Proven ability to act as a technical expert for new technologies laboratory community.
Ability to work in a complex project implementation environment, with multiple tasks, short lead times and intense performance pressure.
Proven experience in coaching and supervising the strengthening of laboratory services and training in quality improvement approaches.
Good knowledge of the use of data to improve laboratory programs, particularly with respect to LMIS reporting and functionality.
Excellent facilitation, team building and coordination skills.
Strong programming, management, technical and critical thinking skills to facilitate program implementation.
Excellent analytical, communication, presentation and report writing skills.
Knowledge of strengthening laboratories to achieve international quality standards, in particular in relation to ISO 15189 and/or SLMTA/SLIPTA or country standards.
