At least Five (5) years of progressive experience of working in liaison with different Government Ministries and UN agencies. At least three years’ experience in managerial position is a must.
Technical experience in gender mainstreaming and transformative women’s leadership development;
Proven track record in project management and implementation skill and leading a team.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and bilingual spoken and writing skills both in Bengali and English·
Negotiation skill and managing problems and conflicts.
Ability to operate with independence, under pressure, to meet deadlines and commitments ensuring quality output.
Proven ability to work with a team, and as part of a wider networking and monitoring skills.
Cultural sensitivity and ability to respect and work well with people from different backgrounds and disciplines.
Willingness to visit and stay at remote area.

Project Name: Increase the Resilience of Women and Girls through the Acceleration of Gender Responsive Climate Change Actions in Bangladesh (Women's Resilience to Climate Change) Project ·Project Objective: The project is about supporting government (7 Ministries and Department) and enhancing capacity to implement Climate Change and Gender Action Plan (CCGAP). Project Summary: The Christian Commission for Development in Bangladesh (CCDB) is a leading non-governmental organization dedicated to fostering a just and caring society since 1973. CCDB is currently seeking a Project Manager for its project, " Increase the Resilience of Women and Girls through the Acceleration of Gender Responsive Climate Change Actions in Bangladesh (Women's Resilience to Climate Change)” This project focuses on strengthening the institutional capacity of the government of Bangladesh to mainstream gender within climate change policies and actions. It addresses critical challenges, including limited institutional expertise, inadequate monitoring frameworks, insufficient data management, and gaps in economic costing and grassroots knowledge transfer. This project adopts a holistic strategy to empower government ministries and departments in Bangladesh to integrate gender-responsive practices into climate change actions. By strengthening institutional frameworks, building essential skills, and establishing sustainable implementation and monitoring mechanisms, the project aims to mainstream Climate Change and Gender Action Plan (CCGAP) effectively. The results and activities are structured to foster inclusive and gender-responsive climate strategies, linking each result to specific actions. Job Responsibilities:
Developing strategies, guidelines, action plan aligned with the Climate Change Gender Action Plan (CCGAP) and budget for the project implementation smoothly and timely.
Maintain relationship with two key governance bodies: the Project Steering Committee (PSC) and the Implementation Committee (PIC) to ensure long-term sustainability and effective project governance in close coordination with UN women.
Provide strategic oversight for the project, ensuring alignment with national priorities and long-term sustainability.
The Project Manager will play a technical and operational role in the project’s execution.
Monitor implementation process and provide necessary feedback to improve quality of services and project activities of CCDB and Steering Committee as well as Governance bodies.
Analysis outcomes of project activities and prepare reports for project reporting.
Networking and Liaison with respective government agencies and keep good relation as a part of the project management and implementation.
Provide support in managing resources overseeing budgets.
Organize and leads regular team meetings and support in organizing meeting with focal persons, Government and Development Partner.
Ensure technical learning from projects by drawing on lessons learned and good practices
Coordinate and collaborate with relevant internal services, especially logistics, HR, finance, and technical resources.
Ensure the participation and involvement of relevant stakeholders in project activities.
Ensure different capacity building training for the project stakeholders to enhance the capacity.
Ensure timely technical, administrative and logistic support to the Government ministries and developments partner/ organizations.
Perform any other additional tasks assigned by the Management of CCDB.
