At least 2 years of progressively responsible work experience in capacity building, donor reporting, development programme/project implementation, monitoring and evaluation;
Technical experience in gender mainstreaming and transformative women’s leadership development;
Experience in coordinating and liaising with government agencies and/or donors is an asset.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and bilingual spoken and writing skills both in Bengali and English·
Experience in training cycle management;Other Requirement:
Strong Facilitation, presentation, and communication skills;
Good programme formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation skills;
Proven ability to work collaboratively within teams and networks;
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain cultural sensitivity;

Project Name: Increase the Resilience of Women and Girls through the Acceleration of Gender Responsive Climate Change Actions in Bangladesh (Women's Resilience to Climate Change) Project ·Project Objective: The project is about supporting government (7 Ministries and Department) and enhancing capacity to implement Climate Change and Gender Action Plan (CCGAP).Project Summary: The Christian Commission for Development in Bangladesh (CCDB) is a leading non-governmental organization dedicated to fostering a just and caring society since 1973. CCDB is currently seeking a Gender & Capacity Building Officer for its project, " Increase the Resilience of Women and Girls through the Acceleration of Gender Responsive Climate Change Actions in Bangladesh (Women's Resilience to Climate Change)” This project focuses on strengthening the institutional capacity of the government of Bangladesh to mainstream gender within climate change policies and actions. It addresses critical challenges, including limited institutional expertise, inadequate monitoring frameworks, insufficient data management, and gaps in economic costing and grassroots knowledge transfer. This project adopts a holistic strategy to empower government ministries and departments in Bangladesh to integrate gender-responsive practices into climate change actions. By strengthening institutional frameworks, building essential skills, and establishing sustainable implementation and monitoring mechanisms, the project aims to mainstream Climate Change and Gender Action Plan (CCGAP) effectively. The results and activities are structured to foster inclusive and gender-responsive climate strategies, linking each result to specific actions. Job Responsibilities:
Organize Capacity development training for gender and climate change focal points of 7 ministries
Stakeholder Engagement and Advocacy Planning for Climate Change and Gender Action Plan (CCGAP) implementation
Provide substantive support to develop comprehensive training curricula, modules, facilitator guidelines, handouts, and presentations
Provide technical support to training facilitators to deliver interactive sessions effectively
Develop communication materials of the projects i.e. brochures and leaflets, highlighting best practices and key achievements in CCGAP implementation
Design evaluation tools to measure training effectiveness and participant engagement.
Collaboration with the Public Administration Training Centre (PATC) for integrating training modules.
Provide technical support to the consultant for capacity gap assessment, economic costing plan development for the CCGAP detailing resource needs and timeframe alignment with the NAP.
Follow up workshop with training participants for peer learning, experience sharing and way forward.
Organize multi-stakeholders workshop to share and finalize the economic costing plan, incorporating feedback from the Ministries and other stakeholders of the project.
Provide support to consultant for developing a comprehensive M&E framework for MoEFCC to track the implementation impact of CCGAP activities, incorporating gender-sensitive indicators and data collection methodologies.
Organize Capacity development training for the Bangladesh Climate Change Trust’s (BCCT) staff members
Give assistance to consultant for prepare Gender-responsive monitoring framework for BCCT
Prepare the quarterly project report, annual report, training report of the project
Perform any other tasks required by the organization
