Other Requirement :
  • Age at most 50 years
  • Academic Qualification: Master’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university (preferably in Social Science, Development Studies, or Business Administration).
  • Experience Required: Minimum 7 years’ experience in microfinance program management, preferably in an NGO environment. Candidates with field-level experience and team management capabilities will be given priority.
  • Job Location: Head Office with frequent field visits
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Bengali.
  • Strong IT skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microfinance MIS software (preferably g-bank).
  • Ability to drive a motorcycle with a valid driving license.
  • Sound knowledge of Tally/MIS software
  • Willingness to work in remote coastal areas and travel 50–70% of the time.
  • Age limit: Not over 50 years (For experienced candidates, age and educational qualifications may be relaxed).
  • Experience : At least 7 years
    Responsibilities : Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate all activities under the Microfinance Program in accordance with MRA and SLOPB’s guidelines.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor operational plans for field offices and branches.
  • Provide strategic support to field staff and ensure adherence to program goals, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure proper fund management, repayment tracking, and reporting mechanisms are in place and functioning effectively.
  • Supervise and mentor Area Managers, Branch Managers, and field staff to ensure quality implementation of program activities.
  • Monitor the loan disbursement, collection, and savings mobilization process to maintain program sustainability and efficiency.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual program reports for donors, partners, and internal management.
  • Coordinate and facilitate training programs for staff and community beneficiaries to strengthen program capacity and outcomes.
  • Liaise and maintain effective communication with external stakeholders including local government bodies, MRA, and donor agencies.
  • Conduct regular field visits to assess performance, identify gaps, and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
  • Lead program evaluations, impact assessments, and audits in collaboration with the M&E and finance teams.
  • Contribute to proposal development and resource mobilization efforts for microfinance and related livelihood initiatives.
  • Ensure the integration of gender equity, social inclusion, and client protection principles into program planning and implementation.
  • Stay updated on policy changes, regulatory requirements, and best practices in microfinance and recommend necessary adaptations.
