:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily financial records and reports in accordance with organizational policies.
Ensure proper cash handling, ledger posting, journal entries, and preparation of vouchers for all financial transactions.
Assist the Branch Manager in preparing branch-level budgets, financial forecasts, and audit documentation.
Update loan tracking records, maintain client accounts, and ensure accurate posting of loan disbursement and repayment data.
Coordinate with the Head Office finance team for fund requisition, reporting, reconciliation, and compliance.
Ensure timely bank deposits of collected funds and reconcile bank statements with branch cashbooks.
Monitor petty cash usage, maintain proper documentation, and ensure expense reports are supported with valid receipts.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial summaries and submit reports to Area and Head Office on time.
Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary financial data, records, and explanations.
Maintain fixed asset registers and inventory records of the branch and ensure proper documentation.
Verify and support staff travel bills, advance adjustments, and payroll-related matters under the guidance of the Branch Manager.
Ensure strict compliance with financial policies, donor requirements (if applicable), and audit recommendations.
Report any discrepancies, irregularities, or suspected financial misconduct to the Branch Manager or designated authority immediately.
Support the implementation of digital finance or accounting systems, where applicable.
Participate in regular staff meetings and provide financial insights to strengthen branch operations.
