Azim Group is a leading 100% Export Oriented Ready Made Garments Manufacturing Company that intends to recruit Assistant Manager for its Merchandising department.
Job Responsibilities:
Candidate must work in the role of merchandising Assistant manager.
Work as a team and also lead and manage all juniors allocated for the Customer Accounts given by management to handle.
Understand Merchandising Calendar.
Plan & execute product development from existing or new suppliers and make sure samples sent to buyer on time meeting specification & requirements.
Must be able to do costing of all kinds of woven garments. Able to do consumption & costing independently & on the spot.
Ensure communication of delivery & capacity problems if any with the customer.
Identify capability gaps & manage KPI.
Develop the competence & capabilities within existing suppliers aligned with the long-term strategy and manage relationship with suppliers.
Ensure that the vendors understand and respect company's values, Ethics, SOP, requirements and standards.
Play leading role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
Follow up total order from development to shipment.
Negotiate with buyers, participate in bidding process and obtain order confirmation in terms of price, costing, quality and lead-time.
Coordinate with Planning & IE department ensuring the alignment of customer order with Production Planning and Capacity Confirmation.
Responsible for the coordination of daily operational activities in fabric, pre-production sample and bulk production.
Follow-up product development and ensure that products meet customers required quality.
Source and negotiate price for raw materials and deliver the right products at the right price on time.
Make internal plan with CP / TNA for tracking production & final inspection for on time shipment.
Follow-up with planning/production/commercial team and ensure shipments on time.
Should independently handle all aspects of Merchandising from costing to shipment.
Establish & enhance long term business relationships with customers providing superb quality service to maximize business growth of the Company.
Overseeing the update on production status, sampling, lab dips information being provided by the merchandisers to the buyer.
Ensure that fabric and accessories are available in factory within time.
Ensure that production is running as per plan to meet production target & delivery requirement.
Maintain all kinds of reports as required.
Follow up with commercial on correct shipping docs, shipment advice & payment too.
Capable to lead team activity.
Troubleshooting capability smarter way.
Good knowledge about sample/ bulk production follow up daily basis/import/ export activities
Efficient to convince customer through proactive response all the way.
Good interpersonal communication skill to achieve the goal with different qualities personnel.
Should be dedicated to complete daily task at timely manner.
