Responsibilities
:
As a Senior QC Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining quality standards by executing and supervising quality control procedures in compliance with regulatory and company requirements. Your duties will include:1. Quality Testing & Analysis:• Perform chemical and physical analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.• Ensure compliance with product specifications, pharmacopeial standards (BP/USP/EP), and in-house test methods.• Supervise daily laboratory testing activities and support junior analysts.2. Method Validation & Documentation:• Support method development and validation activities.• Maintain accurate and complete test records, analytical reports, and laboratory logs.• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).3. Equipment Handling & Calibration:• Operate and maintain QC instruments such as HPLC, UV, FTIR, Dissolution Tester, etc.• Ensure timely calibration, qualification, and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment.4. GMP & Compliance:• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols in all QC operations.• Participate in internal audits and regulatory inspections as required.• Maintain a clean and controlled laboratory environment.5. Sample Management:• Manage sample receipt, storage, and disposal according to SOP.• Ensure proper labeling and tracking of all samples.6. Collaboration & Reporting:• Coordinate with Production, QA, and R&D teams to resolve quality issues.• Prepare test summary reports and assist in investigation of OOS/OOT results.
